MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Giannis Antetokounmpo was one of three Milwaukee starters to score at least 20 points in a 122-106 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.
The Greek Freak scored 41 points and just missed on a triple-double with nine rebounds and eight assists. Damian Lillard scored himself a double-double with 20 points and ten assists Brook Lopez scored 21 points and grabbed five rebounds.
AJ Green scored 18 and Gary Trent Junior added 11 points, both coming off the bench.
Zach LaVine led the Bulls with 27 points in the loss.
Milwaukee shot 55% from the field but hit just 68% of their free throws.
While the final score may show a decisive win, the contest was uneven for the Bucks. At one point they held an 18-point edge only to see Chicago pull to within one point in the third quarter.
Milwaukee is now 6-9 on the season and will return to action on Friday in an Emirates NBA Cup contest against the Indiana Pacers.
