DETROIT, MI(WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks kept on winning with a 128-107 demolition of the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night.
It was the Bucks seventh straight win and moved them to 4-0 in NBA Cup group play. They advance to the tournament quarterfinals where they’ll take on the Orlando Magic at Fiserv Forum.
Giannis led a balanced Bucks scoring attack with 28 points, seven rebounds and eight assists. Damian Lillard had 27 while Gary Trent Jr had 16. Bobby Portis & Taurean Prince finished with 14 each while AJ Green added 11.
The Bucks improved to 11-9 and will host Atlanta tonight. Pre-game coverage begins at 6:30 on WSAU.
Milwaukee’s game with Orlando in the NBA Cup quarterfinals is scheduled for next Tuesday, December 10th, at 6:00 PM. The winner books a spot in the semifinals in Las Vegas later that week.
