MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Wisconsin Badgers’ busy week is continuing as two of their most productive receivers will not be staying with the program in 2025.
According to ESPN’s Max Olsen, both Will Pauling and C.J. Williams will be entering the transfer portal as grad transfers after spending just two seasons in Madison.
Pauling didn’t produce as much as he did in 2023, catching 42 passes for 407 yards and three scores after 66 catches for 694 yards and four touchdowns the previous season, while C.J. Williams had 16 catches for 248 yards and two touchdowns.
Wisconsin will now look to young receivers such as true freshman Eugene Hilton Jr., Kyan Berry-Johnson, Trech Kekahuna, and Quincy Burroughs to produce in 2025, as well as the transfer portal to add depth to the position by making an offer to Charlotte transfer wide receiver O’Mega Blake and hosting Ohio State transfer wide receiver Jayden Ballard for a visit in the coming days.
