MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin men’s basketball team had no problem picking up a win with a 76-53 trouncing of Detroit Mercy on Sunday at the Kohl Center.
A 14-0 run in the first half gave the Badgers a double digit lead which they never relinquished.
Nolan Winter had a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Steven Crowl had 15 while John Blackwell added 12 points, six rebounds and five assists.
Wausau West grad Peter Fuchs Jr had six points for the Titans.
Wisconsin, now 10-3 overall and 0-2 in the Big Ten, are off until Jan 3rd when they host Iowa.
