MADISON, WI (WSAU) – On Wednesday, it was announced that Wisconsin running back Montee Ball would be a member of the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
On December 9, 2025, the Badger legend will be formally inducted at the National Football Foundation Awards Dinner alongside players such as former Green Bay Packers quarterback and Texas Tech legend Graham Harrell, Virginia Tech quarterback Michael Vick, West Virginia RB Steve Slaton, and Texas Southern DL Michael Strahan.
After a record-breaking four years, Ball’s time at Wisconsin came to an end in 2012, finishing with 598 receiving yards, 6 receiving scores, 59 receptions, 77 rushing touchdowns, 5,140 rushing yards, and 924 total carries on his way to winning the 2012 Doak Walker Award and was named to the First Team All-American team twice in 2011 and 2012.
Ball will become the 12th Badger to be enshrined into the hall of fame which includes former head coach Barry Alverez and fellow running back Ron Dayne.
