NEW ORLEANS, LA (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks’ and New Orleans Pelicans’ Wednesday night game has been postponed due to severe weather moving across the southern part of the U.S.
According to The Athletic’s Eric Nehm, the league decided to postpone the game after New Orleans received 8 inches of snow, breaking the previous daily snowfall record of 2.7 inches set in 1963. Some areas saw up to 9.5 inches of snow accumulation over the last 24 hours. The league hasn’t said when the game will be rescheduled.
The Bucks, who are riding a four-game win streak, are scheduled to travel back to Milwaukee on Thursday to face the Heat at Fiserv Forum tomorrow night. Pre-game coverage on WSAU will begin at 6 p.m.
