MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks have ruled out two star forwards due to injury for Monday night’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
According to the injury report posted on X by the team, Giannis Antetokounmpo (Right Patella Tendinopathy), Khris Middleton (Bilateral Ankle Injury Management), and Damian Lillard (groin) as the Bucks prepare for the second night of a back-to-back following their 132-119 home loss to the Memphis Grizzles on Sunday night.
Antetokounmpo recorded a double-double against the Grizzlies, scoring 30 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in 37 minutes, while Middleton scored 20 points in 26 minutes. Meanwhile, Lillard struggled against the Grizzlies, scoring just 15 points in 37 minutes after shooting just 2-8 from three-point range.
The Bucks, who have lost three straight, will tip off from Oklahoma City at 7 p.m. CST on WSAU.
