MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin mens basketball team hammered Illinois 95-74 on Tuesday night at the Kohl Center in Madison.
The Badgers led by six at halftime but pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Illini 48-33.
Wisconsin has scored 80 or more points for the 15th time this season, the most since 1970-71.
John Tonje continued his hot scoring with 31 points to lead Bucky. Steven Crowl had 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists. John Blackwell added 16.
The Badgers, now 21-5, 11-4 in the Big Ten, will face Oregon on Saturday.
