MADISON, WI (WSAU) The Badgers gave up a double-digit lead in the second half,= and fell in overtime to Oregon, 77-73.
Jackson Shelstad hit a long 3-pointer at the end of regulation to force OT.
Nate Bittle, a 7-foot center, had 6 of his 23 points in overtime.
Wisconsin turned the ball over 17-times, a high for the season.
John Tonje had 22 points in defeat, as Wisconsin’s 5-game winning streak came to an end. The Badgers are now 21-6, and 11-5 in the Big Ten. Oregon improved to 20-8 overall and 9-8 in league play.
It was just the Badgers second loss at home this season. The Bagders will host Washington on Tuesday night.
