GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers may be looking for a new center in 2025 as Josh Myers is expected to have several possible suitors during free agency this offseason.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Myers is expected to have a “strong market ” when free agency starts a little more than a week from today. He’s expected to be fully healthy by the start of training camp after suffering a leg injury during the team’s playoff loss to the Eagles in January.
Myers, who was a second-round pick of the Packers during the 2021 NFL draft, has started 56 games for the Packers, including four playoff games, over the last four seasons.
The Packers may already be planning for a situation where Myers signs elsewhere, as they were one of eight teams to meet with Georgia center Jared Wilson during last week’s NFL combine. Wilson started just one season at center for the Bulldogs and holds a day-two grade from analysts at Pro Football Focus.
