NEW ORLEANS, LA (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks won a pair of road games over the weekend, beating the Miami Heat 121-115 in overtime on Saturday before knocking off the New Orleans Pelicans in a makeup game 111-107 on Sunday.
Saturday saw Giannis go off with a triple-double of 36 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists. Kevin Porter Jr had a big game as well with 24 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. Brook Lopez added 17.
Sunday it was off to New Orleans for the makeup of a game that was snowed out in January. Giannis sat out this one but it didn’t matter as the Bucks won their fourth straight game.
Gary Trent Jr. led the Bucks with 29 points. Porter & Lopez both had 20 points with Lopez adding 12 rebounds. Kyle Kuzma had 17 points and Ryan Rollins added 14 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists.
The Bucks clinched a playoff spot for the 9th straight season and remain the 5th seed in the East with four games to play. They host Minnesota on Tuesday night.
