WAUSHARA COUNTY, WI (WSAU) — A Plover man has been accused of his 7th OWI after State Patrol officers found him passed out behind the wheel of a pickup along Interstate 39 Friday morning.
Officers found 38-year-old Jacob Locast unresponsive and slumped over in the driver’s seat of a Ford pickup near mile marker 123 in Waushara County. When he came to, they immediately noticed the odor of intoxicants.
Locast displayed “other indicators of impairment” as well and was subsequently arrested.
Court records show Locast’s previous OWI convictions date back to 2015. Court action for Friday’s incident is pending.
