CLEVELAND, OHIO (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers salvaged the final game of their road trip with a 9-5 win over the Cleveland Guardians on Wednesday.
Rhys Hoskins went 4-4 with two runs scored and five RBIs including his fifth home run of the season. Sal Frelick also went deep with a solo shot in the fifth inning. Jake Bauers added two RBIs.
Logan Henderson picked up the win giving up two runs on four hits over five innings. He struck out seven with one walk.
The Brewers are off on Thursday before starting a weekend series with the Minnesota Twins on Friday night at American Family Field.
