MADISON, WI (WSAU) — A Minocqua man has been indicted on charges related to wire fraud and unlawful monetary transactions.
Cory Kromray is accused of taking money from others, promising to invest it in stocks, mutual funds, and cryptocurrency. Instead, he allegedly used the money for his own benefit.
The alleged activity occurred between the fall of 2018 and last April.
The 39-year-old was indicted in US District Court for Western Wisconsin earlier this week. Trial dates have not been set.
Kromray faces up to 30 years in prison on the counts.
