MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Christian Yelich launched a grand slam in the 10th inning as the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Boston Red Sox 5-1 on Tuesday night at American Family Field.
The Brewers had tied it in the 9th when Sal Frelick drove in Yelich on a single to center.
Aaron Civale returned from the injured list and gave up just one run on three hits in five innings of work. Rob Zastryzny picked up the win in relief.
The Brewers are back to .500 at 28-28 and will go for the sweep of the Sox this afternoon. Pre game show at 11:35 on WSAU.
