WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — For a second consecutive week, Wausau’s Concert on the Square in the 400 Block will move to the Rothschild Pavilion.
“The rainy forecast for today is greatly impacting our ability to have our Concert outside tonight,” said Wausau Events Executive Director Alissandra Aderholdt. “It’s unfortunate that we need to move a second concert indoors, but we look forward to a dry evening full of great music inside.”
Aderholdt says the decision was made in consultation with meteorologists at both WSAW and WAOW TV. The decision was announced at noon to allow vendors ample time to change their plans and logistics.
Doors to the Pavilion will open at 5:00 PM with SAGE playing from 6:00 to 8:00. Some food vendors will be on site. Guests will be allowed to bring their own food and beverages along with lawn chairs.
All bags and coolers will be subject to inspection.
