MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers topped the LA Dodgers 3-1 on Tuesday night at American Family Field.
Brewers phenom Jacob Misiorowski out-dueled Dodger legend Clayton Kershaw to pick up his fourth win of the season. Misiorowski gave up a home run to Shohei Ohtani in ther first inning bur then shut down LA for six innings striking out 12 and walking one.
Sal Frelick homered for the Brewers. Andrew Vaughn and Issac Collins had the other RBIs.
Milwaukee also announced first baseman Rhys Hoskins will be out around six weeks with an injured thumb. he was hitting .242 with 12 home runs and 42 RBIs.
Milwaukee is now 52-40, 2 1/2 games behind Chicago in the Central Division. They face the Dodgers today, pre game show at 12:35 on WSAU.
