Chelsie Lehmann
SETEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A second person has been arrested in connection with last weekend’s AMBER Alert for a six-year-old girl in Portage County.
Chelsie Lehmann, the biological mother of Ruby Lehmann, has been taken into custody, according to WAOW TV. Portage County District Attorney Cass Cousins says more details regarding her arrest will be made public on Tuesday.
Ruby’s uncle, Jordan Coyle, was arrested last weekend on a probation violation after the two were found in a wooded area near Almond.
Ruby was the subject of an AMBER Alert issued Thursday evening. The alert was canceled early Saturday evening. Officers said the six-year-old was not harmed, but was scared when they arrived.
