MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Badgers lost 34-0 to the top-ranked Ohio State.
The first quarter had a slow start, but ended with the Buckeyes getting a 17-0 lead. The Badger defense held strong in the second quarter, keeping Ohio State off the scoreboard in that frame.
Nabbing a touchdown in the third quarter, the Buckeyes now lead at 27-0.
And finally, a fourth-quarter touchdown from the Buckeyes with a final score of 34-0.
QB Hunter Simmons completed six passes for 54 yards. RB Gideon Ituka led the ground game with 35 yards.
Omillio Agard made 6 tackles, one sack, and a pass breakup, while Freshman Cooper Catalano added 4 tackles.
Wisconsin falls to 2-5 and 0-4 in conference play. They travel to Oregon on Saturday, October 25th, to take on the #6 Ducks. Kickoff is set for 6 PM with pregame coverage on WSAU starting at 4:00.
