MERRILL, WI (WSAU) – A sex offender is about to be released from jail, and will be living in Merrill.
Theresa Zastrow, 51, was convicted of having sex with a 15-year-old boy who she met in a bar. She was 44 at the time.
She was sentenced to five years in jail, and was paroled in 2017. But Zastrow was sent back to jail when she violated the rules of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry by trying to change her name.
She will be living on County Highway K in Merrill. She’ll be subject to GPS monitoring, is not allowed to have unsupervised contact with minors, and will have to maintain absolute sobriety.
