MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Wisconsin men’s basketball defeated Marquette 96-76 on Saturday at the Kohl Center.
John Blackwell dropped 30 points for the third time this season and is one of the two players in the country who can say that. Blackwell paced the Badgers (7-2, 1-0 B1G) to their point total against Marquette (5-5, 0-0 Big East)
Bucky Finished 14-33.
The Badgers now hold a 72-60 advantage over Marquette.
Wisconsin managed to break the game during the first half with an 11-2 run by Nolan Winter.
Bucky, leading 43-31 into the break before dropping 53 second-half points to cement the 20-point victory.
Nolan Winter had his fifth double-double of the season, tallying 13 points and 13 rebounds. Aleksas Bieliausksa recorded his first double-double
