MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin Badger football team will lose a couple of more players in the transfer portal.
Running back Cade Yacamelli announced Tuesday he would be transferring. The redshirt junior has one more year of eligibility remaining.
Yacamelli was a backup for most of his time in Madison and spent much of this past season injured as well. He had 38 carries this season for 128 yards.
Wide Receiver Joseph Griffin will also transfer. He played in a few games early this sesaon but was injured for the final seven games. He is a redshirt junior with one year of eligibility remaining.
The transfer portal is open Jan 2-16.
