MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – A Badgers comeback fell short in a 76-66 loss to Villanova.
The Badgers trailed by 13 at halftime, but used a 12-0 run to get back into the game. They forced overtaime at 56-56, but were outscored 20-10 in the extra period.
Tyler Perkins led Villanova with 19 points.
Nolan Winter had 23 for the Badgers. John Blackwell fouled out with 14-points.
The Badgers fall to 7-4 this season. They’re back at the Kohl Center on Monday for a game against Central Michigan.
