Children's Imaginarium
WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – The Green Bay Packers are making a positive impact on their community once again by supporting an organization in Wausau. The Children’s Imaginarium has received a sustainability education grant from the Green Bay Packers Foundation.
The grant is designed to teach children the importance of recycling. It is part of a $1.5 million fund distributed among 398 civic and charitable organizations.
“We’ll have an open area where they can come and do free build, and also there will be opportunities for classes, or clinics, or drop ins, for opportunities for them to come in and learn more about this process,” said a representative. “There’s a lot of layers that go into it so, I felt very good for our community to have this opportunity here.”
The Imaginarium is currently in the process of ordering products needed for the new learning space. They anticipate that the setup will take only a few months.
