Green Bay Packers
GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers are headed to the playoffs. They clinched their spot from the comfort of their living rooms as they watched the Minnesota Vikings beeat the Detroit Lions 23-10 on Christmas Day. With the loss, the Lions were eliminated from playoff possibilites.
Former Badger standout Andrew Van Ginkel recovered two fumbles for the Vikings. Minnesota amassed six turnover vs the mistake-prone Lions.
Green Bay can still improve their playoff slot with wins in the final two games against Baltimore and Minnesota. They also still have an outside shot at the NFC North title although that would take Chicago losing their last two games.
Both Jordan Love and Malik Willis returned to practice this week as they battle injuries suffered in the loss to Chicago last week. The Packers welcome in the Baltimore Ravens to Lambeau Field on Saturday night. Packer GameDay begins at 5pm on WSAU.
