GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers have announced that QB Jordan Love is out for Saturday’s game with Baltimore.
Love suffered a concussion in last week’s loss to Chicago and was replaced by Malik Willis, who is expected to start for Green Bay on Saturday. Willis went 9/11 for 121 yards and one touchdown, a 33-yard strike to Romeo Doubs in the third quarter.
The announcement came on Friday afternoon. Additionally, G Aaron Banks (neck/illness) and WR Savion Williams (foot/illness) were downgraded to questionable for Saturday due to illness. Iola native Kristian Welch was also placed on injured reserve.
Green Bay is 9-5-1 on the season and has wrapped up a playoff spot courtesy of Detroit’s loss to Minnesota on Christmas Day. The Packers can improve their standings with wins in their final two games and two losses by the Bears.
