Wisconsin Badgers
MINNEAPOLIS, MINN (WSAU) — The Wisconsin mens basketball team beat Minnesota for the 10th straight time, this time on a buzzer beater from John Blackwell. The final was 78-75.
After the Gophers tied the game on a three-pointer with five seconds remaining, Blackwell hit a three as time expired for the win.
The Badgers rallied from an 11 point deficit in the game with a 14-0 run in the second half.
Blackwell led Wisconsin with 27 points , six rebounds and five assists. Braeden Carrington had 21 and Nolan Winter added a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Wisconsin, now 12-5, 4-2 in Big Ten, will host Rutgers on Saturday afternoon.
