NEW ORLEANS, LA (WSAU) — Ryan Rollins and Cam Thomas each scored 27 points as Milwaukee beat New Orleans 139-118 to open the ceremonial second half of the NBA season.
Kevin Porter Jr scored 25 points. Bobby Portis dropped 17 points coming off the bench.
Rollins added six assists, four steals, two blocked shots, and two rebounds.
Milwaukee shot 60% from the field, including 42% from three-point range. The Bucks also recorded 28 assists on 55 made baskets.
Zion Williamson scored a game-high 32 points for the Pelicans in the loss.
Milwaukee is now 24-30 on the season and moves to within 1.5 games of Charlotte for the 10th spot in the East, which is the last play-in spot. They return home on Sunday to face the Toronto Raptors at 2:30 PM. Pre-game coverage on 93.9 The Game will begin at 2 PM.
