Wisconsin Badgers
MADISON, WI (WSAU) — It was a big day for Badger Nick Boyd as the Wisconsin mens basketball team topped Iowa 84-71 on Sunday at the Kohl Center.
The Badgers trailed by one at halftime. They went 14-15 from the free throw line in the second half.
Boyd had 27 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds for the Badgers. Nolan Winter had 18, Austin Rapp 14 and John Blackwell 13 for Wisconsin.
The Badgers improve to 19-8 and 11-5 in the Big Ten. They will play at Oregon on Wednesday.
