GLENDALE, AZ (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers rolled over the LA Dodgers 24-9 on Monday afternoon spring training baseball.
The two teams combined to throw 466 pitches, 250 from the Dodgers, the second most since the pitch tracking era began. The Brewers fell behind 7-0 before scoring 10 runs in the fifth innings and nine more in the 7th.
Brandon Lockridge was 3-4 with a homer and four RBIs. Luis Lara drove in three runs while Cooper Pratt, Mike Boeve and Luke Adams drove in two apiece.
The Brewers play the Angels on Tuesday afternoon. Pre-game show at 3pm on WRIG.
Milwaukee will open the regular season Thursday March 26th vs the Chicago White Sox at American Family Field.
