MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) The Brewers have opened their season with back-to-back wins over the White Sox. They beat Chicago 6-1 on Saturday night.
Garrett Mitchell had two hits, 2 RBI, and 2 stolen bases in the win. Christian Yelich and Brice Turang had three hits each.
Garrett Mitchell hit two singles, drove in two runs and stole two bases on Saturday night to help the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Chicago White Sox 6-1 despite another home run by Munetaka Murakami.
Brewers’ starter Chad Patrick allowed one run, a home run to Munetaka Maurakami. Aaron Ashby, who came on in the 5th inning, stuck ou four of the seven batters he faced.
Brewers first baseman Andrew Vaughn was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left hamate fracture.
The Brewers and White Sox conclude their series on Sunday at 12:35pm on WSAU.
