Milwaukee Brewers
MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Washington Nationals broke open a 3-3 game in the 9th inning to spoil the debut of the Brewers’ new “Wisco” City Connect uniforms on Friday, 7-3.
Jake Bauers put Milwaukee on top early with a three-run home run in the bottom of the first, one of his two hits on the day. Jacob Young tied the game in the 7th on an RBI double.
Closer Trevor Megil then allowed four runs in the 9th, including two RBI sac bunts.
Brice Turang and William Contreras each recorded singles.
Aaron Asby opened the game on the mound and went 2.1 innings. Chad Patrick went the next three.
The same two teams will play again this evening at American Family Field. Coverage moves to 93.9 The Game at 5:30 to make way for Badger men’s hockey on WSAU in the Division I National Championship.
