WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Bull Falls Brewing Company is hosting their first Bock Fest this weekend, expected to be their largest event after Oktoberfest.
Hundreds are expected to fill the biergarten from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. as the opening keg tap kicks things off, followed by live music from the Brad Emmanuel Band. A big draw will be the debut of the Goat Bock beer, originally a dark style German beer, brewed in the early 14th century.
“The Bock Fest is traditionally the celebration of the end of winter, so we usher into spring with the bock beer and the bock festival so that’s kind of what this is all about,” said Bull Falls Brewing Co. Co-Owner Jason Peck.
Along with the Goat Bock, Peck adds that Bull Falls will soon debut a Maple Bock, along with a Baltic Porter and Copper Lager.
