MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Brewers bullpen struggled in a 9-7 loss to the Blue Jays.
Milwaukee’s losing streak is at 6 games, the team’s longest since June 2023.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. doubled in the go-ahead run in the 10th after the Brewers rallied in the 9th to force extra-innings.
The Brewers had the tying and winning runs on base in the bottom of the 10th before Gary Sanchez struck out to end the game.
Milwaukee couldn’t hold an earlier 3-0 lead on a Jake Bauers home run.
The Brewers and Blue Jays play again on Wednesday night. Chad Patrick (0-1) will start for Milwaukee. Game coverage begins at 6:05 PM on WSAU.
