MIAMI, FL (WSAU) – The Brewers fell behind early and could not recover in a 5-3 loss to the Marlins on Sunday.
Jacob Misiorowski allowed 3-runs in the 1st inning in a game where the Brewers did not lead. Misiowoski settled in after the poor start, not allowing any more runs and striking out 9. He falls to 1-2 for the season.
The Brewers threatned in the 8th inning on a Gary Sanchez two-run hit, but reliever Calvin Faucher was able to get the final out.
The loss snapped a Brewers’ 4-game winning streak. They’re off until Tuesday when they play the Tigers in Detroit at 5:05pm CT on WSAU.
