Brewers bats go quiet in late innings in 6-2 loss

MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU)  The Brewers failed to hold an early lead in a 6-2 loss to Arizona. The Diamondbacks slugged 4 home runs.

Nolan Areando had a 3-run blast.  Ildemaro Vargas extended his hitting streak to 25 games.

Brice Turang and Luis Rengifo each had two hits for the Brewers. Jake Bauers and Brice Turang drove in runs early, staking the Brewers to a 2-0 lead. Milwaukee did not score after the third inning.

Brandon Sproat worked into the 5th inning, allowing four runs, six hits, and striking out five.
