CHICAGO, IL (WSAU) The Brewers completed a sweep of the Cubs, 5-0, behind masterful pitching from Kyle Harrison. He struck out 11 in 7-innings of shutout ball, allowing just 2 hits.
David Hamilton had three hits and scored twice. Harrison and Hamilton were both aquaired in an off-season trade with the Red Sox.
The Cubs were sloppy in defeat. An error in the outfield allowed three runs to score. The Brewers final run came in on a wild pitch.
The now first-place Brewers are off on Thursday before hosting the Dodgers on Friday night.
