Terrell Poe
WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Sheboygan man who had been accused of sexually assaulting a woman at knifepoint will serve prison time for amended charges after reaching a plea deal with the state.
Terrell Poe pleaded guilty to soliciting a prostitute, threatening law enforcement, and failure to pay for a service. He was then sentenced to three years in prison and three years on extended supervision.
The 30-year-old was initially charged with sexually assaulting the victim at knifepoint in May 2025. He was arrested in early June and then threatened the officers as he was being taken into custody.
Charges were amended during a hearing on Monday. The case had been scheduled for trial later this month.
Additional counts for carrying a concealed knife and resisting or obstructing an officer were dismissed but read into the record. Terms of his sentence also include a full no-contact order with the victim and completion of anger management courses.
Poe was given credit for one year already served in jail while awaiting trial.
