WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — For a second time in three weeks, Concerts on the Square are heading indoors.
Tonight’s performance with Johnny and the MoTones has been moved to the Rothschild Pavilion due to the threat of rain, according to a press release from Wausau Events.
“Whenever weather may impact the event experience, we closely monitor conditions and look at the best ways to keep the concert safe and enjoyable for everyone,” said Brooklyn Hess, Wausau Events Executive Director. “We’re excited that we can still move forward with tonight’s show in a beautiful indoor setting that allows guests to stay dry and comfortable while enjoying great music.”
The concert is scheduled to run from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Rain also forced a change of venue for the June 24th show featuring the Brass Differential and a June 17th show featuring Brad Emanuel. The June 10th show was postponed due to a threat of severe weather.
