6th Annual Mercer Backyard BBQ Cook-Off – September 18-19, 2026!
The Mercer Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the 6th Annual Mercer Backyard BBQ Cook-Off, happening this year on a new date in September! For 2026, the event will be held at a host site (location TBD) and features an amateur barbecue competition for grillers of all skill levels.
Food categories for the competition include Ribs, Pork Butt, and Brisket. The entry fee for grillers is $100, and meat is included in the fee. We’re looking for our 2026 grillers, but spots are limited—so sign up early! Online Registration Form: [Link to register]
Not cooking but still want to enjoy the flavors? General admission for tasting all the delicious smoked BBQ is $10, giving you the chance to sample the best of the grills before we crown the Master Grills of the Day.
