MADISON, Wis. (WSAU) — The Stevens Point Area Senior High boys basketball team will play for the Division One WIAA championship game Saturday. SPASH defeated West Allis Central 63-39 Friday evening.
Trev Anderson had 20 points for the Panthers, and Sam Hauser had 19 points in the win. SPASH shot 50% from the field, and 55% from three point land. The Panthers also set a WIAA record sinking 11 three-point baskets out of 20 attempts in the game. The Panthers also went a perfect 8 for 8 at the free throw line.
They will play Germantown Saturday for the gold ball. Germantown defeated Madison East 82-54.
