PORT EDWARDS, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — The former Port Edwards Police Chief will receive nine months worth of pay in her severance package.
An administrator for Port Edwards told WAOW-TV that former Police Chief Jennifer Iverson will be receiving over $56,000. She will be paid for nine months of salary and six months of health care.
Iverson resigned back in mid-November due to misconduct allegations. A hearing was scheduled for the accusations but was canceled when she resigned.
The village is currently working on hiring a replacement police chief.
