STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU-WAOW)– One person was injured in an apartment fire Monday night in Stevens Point.
Authorities told WAOW Newsline 9 that the unidentified person was taken to the hospital for an evaluation. The fire broke out around 7 p.m. on Marthas Lane in Stevens Point and appears to have started in the kitchen of one of the units.
There was no structural damage to the building and the fire chief said no one else in the building was displaced because of the incident.
