STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A bond has been set for the man suspected of stabbing two people in Stevens Point on Sunday morning.
Joseph Stalnaker, age 28, is facing first-degree homicide charges as he is suspected of stabbing two people in Stevens Point Sunday morning near Polito’s Pizza. He is being held the Portage County Jail.

A Portage County judge has set Stalnaker’s bond at $50,000 cash. The bond has conditions such as no contact with Kurtis Johnson, Polito’s Pizza, and a friend of the victim. Stalnaker also cannot consume or be somewhere where alcohol is served except within the scope of employment.
Stalnaker will return to court on December 3rd for a hearing.
