WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A new road closure is hitting Wausau as the end of construction season nears.
Beginning at noon on Thursday a portion of Northwestern Avenue in Wausau will be closed for the installation of a new water main. Northwestern Avenue will be closed from Townline Road to County Road X or Camp Phillips Road to thru traffic.
The road closure that’s on the south-east side of Wausau will begin just south of the intersection of Northwestern Avenue and Gold Ridge Way. The section of road will be closed to thru traffic for 2 weeks.
This portion of Northwestern Avenue will reopen on Thursday, October 18th.
