MERRILL, WI (WSAU) — An Almond man was charged Friday with first degree recklessly endangering safety, fleeing an officer, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and several counts of bail jumping after a chase in Lincoln County.
Ralph J Noonan made a court appearance on Friday after he was arrested following a high-speed chase that began in Lincoln County and ended just across the Oneida County border. An officer had spotted Noonan’s vehicle and ran the plates, which came back for several outstanding warrants. A pursuit followed which reached speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.
Two squad cars were damaged in the chase. Noonan’s vehicle also received damage.
The 45-year-old is being held on $50,000 bond. His next court appearance is set for Thursday.
