GROVER, WI (WSAU) — The 12-year-old girl who died in a go-kart crash has been identified as Madison Pluger of Spencer.
The accident happened on private land in Marinette County in the Town of Grover. Sheriff Jerry Sauve says the victim was visiting her grandmother and other family members.
An accident report says the go-kart crashed into a parked pick-up truck around 3pm. Pluger was taken to a hospital in Oconto and died from internal injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
