WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Wausau School District is conducting an investigation into allegations of an employee soliciting a prostitute.
The Rothschild Police Department cited seven individuals for soliciting a prostitute over the weekend. One of the citations listed is a Michael A Schwei, age 62. A first time prostitution charge only carries a fine. And it’s unclear if it is the same Michael Schwei that serves with the Wausau School District as the director of human resources and employee relations. Officials with the Wausau school district have confirmed they are investigating an employee over claims of prostitution but did not name the employee.
Further details are not available at this time. When contacted by WSAU News, the Rothschild Police Department were unable to comment on the investigation as the detective assigned to the case was unavailable. More details are expected to be released in the coming days.
WSAU News will update the story as more details become available.
