STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU-WAOW) Stevens Point Area High School is sending students home early after a staff member found “additional anonymous school threats” written in a bathroom stall at the school.
“Due to extreme caution and prudence, SPASH will early release at 10:21 AM There is no indication that there are threats at any other school, however we have requested increased police presence at all schools,” part of a statement on the school’s website said.
Parents may pick up students from schools as they feel appropriate.
Officials will “be sending additional information and communication later (Friday),” the alert added.
Benjamin Franklin Junior High School was already closed in the school district on Friday after two separate threats were found in a school bathroom a day earlier.
