TOWN OF STRONGS PRAIRIE, WI (WSAU) — A two-vehicle crash in Adams county left seven people injured, some severely.
Sheriff’s officials say a van carrying was northbound on County Road Z in the Town of Strongs Prairie when the vehicle failed to stop and was sideswiped by a semi driving west on State Highway 21.
All seven people in the van were taken from the scene to nearby hospitals. Five were taken by helicopter, two by ambulance. Injuries ranged from minor to severe, according to Sheriff’s officials.
Multiple crews were called to the scene including helicopters from Lifelink III, Gundersen Medlink air, and UW Medflight. Ambulance crews from Mauston and Nekoosa were also brought to the scene.
Names of those involved have not been released and no further information is available at this time.
